Board Member

PJ Brescia (they/them) is a proud board member of the NLGJA Los Angeles Chapter, supporting LGBTQ+ journalists and media professionals across Southern California. They are the founder of BabyGay™, a media platform and 501(c)(3) nonprofit that amplifies queer voices through storytelling, advocacy and community-building. Since launching at the LA LGBT Center in 2023, PJ has led BabyGay™ in partnership with The Black Cat and LA City Council to establish National Coming Out Day as an official Los Angeles city holiday. They also serve as president of the LA Queer Coalition, a network of LGBTQ+ leaders working to protect queer rights and expand representation. In 2025, PJ launched The BabyGay™ Podcast to celebrate coming out stories and explore diverse queer experiences.
